MISSION AND GOALS
Established in 2011, SF REIKI CENTER is a traditional private practice and school of Reiki. Our mission is to provide a safe space for physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation for our clients and students. We follow the traditions of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing.
SF REIKI CENTER offers private Reiki sessions, Distance sessions, Reiki Classes, a Community Reiki Clinic, a Certified Reiki Practitioner Training Program, and continuing education workshops. Additionally, SF REIKI CENTER hosts events and reiki circles and provides educational and professional resources to the Global Reiki Community.
SF REIKI CENTER honors and acknowledges Brian Brunius of NYC REIKI CENTER for his unwavering mentorship, guidance, and support. Christopher Tellez is a Reiki Master and founder of SF REIKI CENTER.
GOALS OF SF REIKI CENTER:
1. Local to GLOBAL reiki COMMUNITY
SF REIKI CENTER holds space for Reiki students to grow, learn, and develop one’s gifts and full potential. Within this sphere, we are committed to the students of SFRC by providing ongoing Reiki Programs for our students. We also connect to our larger Usui Shiki Ryoho community by attending retreats, events, and workshops sponsored by our international colleagues.
2. PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT
Receiving Reiki initiations changes us by increasing the flow of energy into and around our bodies. Through Reiki initiations, we make it possible for students to offer Reiki to themselves and others. Through ongoing Reiki practice, the flow of energy will help students overcome their greatest obstacles and fully inhabit their lives and personal missions.
3. INCREASE CONSCIOUSNESS
All beings are One. By expanding our consciousness, we help all sentient beings. Through assisting another to grow their consciousness, we empower ourselves and all other people. We use the support and community of the SF Reiki Center to increase the consciousness of our members.
4. SERVICE TO HUMANITY
The spiritual teacher Sathya Sai Baba often exhorted us, "Love all, Serve all." This instruction helps us keep our lives, and daily activities focused on this singular thought: “What do I have to give to each person or situation I encounter?” At SF Reiki Center, we believe thinking of others first, takes us out of our ego and puts Reiki in the forefront of our lives and daily activities. We offer ourselves each day in the service of Reiki and ask that we may be shown how to make a difference in the world.
