Journey To Where It All Began

A Pilgrimage to Japan
for Students
of Any Level of Reiki .

October / November / 2024

We are excited to be offering our popular 8-day Japan tour, “A  Journey to Where it All Began,” for the second time this year.  The group will be accompanied by Reiki Master and guide Christopher Tellez along with translator and guide Keiko Mukai. Our trip begins in Kyoto where we will connect to the spirit of Japan and learn the deep history of spiritual practice. We will immerse ourselves in the Japanese culture through frequent temple visits and by climbing Mount Kurama, the birthplace of Reiki. At Mount Kurama we will explore various temples and sacred spots visited by Usui Sensei as he ascended the mountain for his fateful 21-day fast and meditation which led him to Reiki. Upon descending Mount Kurama we will explore Kibune (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and one of the most scenic riverside towns in Japan. Lastly, our guides will lead us to the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the tori gates of the Fushi Inari Shrine to experience Japanese culture, both ancient and modern.

To ensure an intimate and fully interactive experience, this tour is limited to 8 travelers, and all should have been initiated into the first level of Reiki before the tour begins.

 Payments and Deadlines
The tour fee is US $3,650 per person based double occupancy.  Single room is an additional $250.00. A non-refundable deposit of US $1,000 is due upon registration to hold your space. The final day to register and pay the remaining balance is February 19th, 2024
