The Journey of Silence, Love, and Reiki Community Growth

Dear Colleagues, Friends, Clients, Students, and Future Friends Who Read My Words :)

The first thing I want to share with you is that I had a deeply impactful experience at the Northwest Reiki Gathering. I didn’t realize I would be stepping into an unconscious digital detox, but I did — and I entered a very deep state of silence as I fully embraced the global energy of this gathering, which has been taking place for 41 years.

During my time there, I felt my heart expanding more and more, and I realized that love consciousness never truly ends — it can just keep expanding. This was powerful for me, as I had thought my heart was already wide open to giving and receiving love. This new experience reminded me once again that transformation never stops; it continues, always.

I also gained a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of a global Reiki consciousness, and that I can connect with and feel this consciousness more directly each day — if I allow myself more silence.

So, my friends, my epiphany this month was silence — and what happens when I welcome more of it into my life. I suspect that as I lean into this more, I’ll have more epiphanies to share with you.

The second thing I’d like to share is that very soon we will have an alumni page honoring Reiki Master Teachers who have trained at the SF Reiki Center, as well as certified Reiki practitioners who have gone on to start professional practices.

We are also developing an online portal for my students, giving them more access to information, resources, and tutorial videos from me.
